i think getting the right genre in singapore does affect alot in profit making and maybe a better fan base.
ive been advised by some ppl. making music shldnt be force and it shld be what u like not anybody's decision.
but when i think of tt... u wanna make hardcore brutal screamo music. will it sell mre than pop music? or will i be better than pop music. (u might be better than pop but in terms of fans and stuff)
ur getting depressed coz ur music is way talented than gay pop and sumhow ur belief is dark and nobody likes ur type of music. (not nobody.. figure speech).
sum ppl wanna listen to what they wanna listen.. we cant change tt. im not here to do that either. im jus here to state some obvious facts.
ive been on soft.com.sg and there alot of heavy hardcore metal-core bands. but ive seen no progress at all. they make their own gigs. but laughably not many audience. its jus their frens or sum random gig hoppers.
i dont despise such music. and i do like them. but i hate screamos. kinda annoying, (and yea i know its hard and stuff.) its my preference. its just like, me listening to hard rock. u cant change me and i cant change u.
the only band ive seen achieving the best is electrico. (examples of achievements, touring at US). and even that its not tt impressive.
" u talk alot go do better than them la nb cb kanina". i beg to differ if u can do better than electrico either. im jus another critic/ opinion dude. if we wont change it wld be a pattern. a sad pattern. if u guys dont mind the pattern den i wldnt wanna change u guys too . jus an opinion.
i have to say. some of the singapore metal/ hard rock scene is quite alright. but we dont have those listeners in singapore. theyre all mainstream and whatnot. im a mainstream music listener, and if u deny it.. ur a hypocrite seriously. evryone of u sure do passby a radio station and listened.. wow tts a catchy song.
but i have to say 50-75% of radio music is crap. coz 50-75% is rap.

so i think u might wanna consider ur genre. id suggest hard rock if u into rock and stuff. coz u can add pop stuff and in hard rock ur range is alot. hee
if ur into techno then kill urself. hahaha its nt worth listening to if u like music.
